How this number is calculated
Fuel loss equals monthly consumption times twelve months times the price per liter times the loss rate. Downtime equals monthly downtime days times twelve times the cost per day. Admin hours equal the number of assets times 0.35 hours per month times twelve times the hourly rate.
This is a recoverable cost, not a promise of full recovery. What you actually recover depends on how rigorously the system is applied in the field.
Every internal refuel is logged with quantity, source, asset, responsible person, and time, along with tank and tanker balances. Fuel-card transactions are imported and compared against recorded consumption to expose whatever does not match the operating pattern.

The driver or supervisor starts the trip by scanning the asset code, and the trip is recorded with its location, time, photos, quantities, and meter reading. Any mismatch between loaded and delivered, or a move outside the geofence, is flagged for review before approval.
When renting equipment from a supplier or renting your equipment to a client, the meter reading is recorded at handover and return along with condition photos, so billable hours are calculated on documented evidence, not estimates.
